Questions? You probably have a lot so contact us using the enquiry link on the left and we will go through them with you. Here are some answers to frequently asked questions.
What computer skills do I need?
As little as reading your email for a simple brochure site. To process orders you will need to log in to password protected web pages.
Very little more is needed to update a site set up for you to use in this way.
How much will my site cost?
That depends on the content and of your site and what you need it to do for you. We will always quote without obligation and with absolutely no pressure selling.
What do I have to do to get going?
We will guide you through the process. On a major site you may reduce setup costs if you are able to produce stock listings (from a database or spreadsheet for example) and product illustrations.
What do you mean by a Brochure website?
A website where you set out your goods and services but do not sell directly on line.
This may or may not be integrated with an online shop
And what is ecommerce?
Usually an online shop, sometimes called an eshop or etailing. A large online shop is effectively a form of brochure site anyway but there are other forms of trading on the internet.
Are newsletters illegal?
Many are, but in a legitimate business, legal newsletters can be invaluable to seller and buyer.
Can you follow my brand guidelines?
Absolutely. If you have no formal guidelines in place we will use your logo and colours throughout to use and strengthen your visual identity.
Will you process payments for me?
Banks and other organisations provide such services. We provide the interface to their systems and may be able to help you select a provider according to your expected volumes, target audience and budget.
Are there legal requirements for trading on line?
Yes but most of them apply to other selling at a distance anyway. We will help you with this.
